  • How much do signs cost?

    Considering that signs can vary so greatly in size, quantity, design, and material make-up, it is difficult to estimate an average price. Our experienced sales staff will work with you to determine exactly what your sign needs are and how best to work within your budget.

  • How large can my exterior ground or wall signs be?

    The size of your sign is dictated by several variables, including local regulations. Most municipalities have rules on maximum square footage, placement, and even color or design. Our knowledgeable team will guide you through these restrictions and help you determine the maximum allowable size.

  • When is a sign permit required and how do I get one?

    Most municipalities require a sign permit for any exterior sign visible from a public right-of-way. Permit requirements vary, but SignMedia Inc. handles all aspects, including research, procurement, and attendance at any required meetings.

  • What type of signs does SignMedia Inc. manufacture?

    We manufacture a wide range of interior and exterior signs, from giant letters to ADA-compliant signs with Braille. Our facility is equipped to handle complex projects, including electronic message centers and large format printing. Our team can create the perfect sign for your business.

  • How long will it take to manufacture and install my sign?

    The timeline depends on several factors, including the size, design complexity, material availability, and permit requirements. You can expect anywhere from a few days for simple projects to four to six weeks for larger installations. Our team works hard to ensure timely delivery.

  • How will the look of my sign be determined?

    Our in-house design team will collaborate with you to create a sign that fits your brand. If you don’t have a logo yet, we offer free logo design services included with your purchase. You’ll also receive your new logo in digital form to use across other platforms.

  • Do I have to supply my own logo artwork or design?

    If you have your logo in electronic form, we can use it to speed up the design process. We accept vector formats like .AI, .PDF, or .CDR for design. For digital printing, high-resolution .JPG, .BMP, or .EPS files are preferred.

  • What is UL and why is it important?

    UL provides safety-related certifications and testing to ensure electrical signs meet industry standards. UL certification is required for many installations, and having a UL-certified sign ensures your sign is safe and compliant with local codes.

  • Is SignMedia Inc. a UL-certified manufacturer?

    Yes, SignMedia Inc. has three UL-certified representatives. Many municipalities require that electric signs meet UL standards, and our certification guarantees compliance, safety, and high-quality workmanship.
